ViroClinics is a contract research organization specialising in viruses that cause diseases of significant
impact topublic health. It provides an array of services to the biopharmaceutical industry including
diagnostic services, contract research and general consultancy to accelerate the development of vaccines,
antivirals and in vitro diagnostics.

 

ViroClinics was founded in 2000 by the Department of Virology at the Erasmus University Medical Centre,
in Rotterdam, the Netherlands, to help transition academic research from the bench to the bedside. The
company continues to collaborate with Erasmus MC, and is a member of ViroVentures, enabling the latest
technologies to be applied in the fight against virus infections.
