We continuously address, develop, and implement environmental, social and governance aspects, and are committed to do so in accordance with international sustainability frameworks and standards.
Recognition of our efforts
We have partnered with the EcoVadis Sustainability Rating Platform and are proud to have prolonged our EcoVadis Silver Rating in September 2022.
Through continuous efforts and improvements, we are working to advance on our score and achievements.

In 2020 we established a sustainability committee under the lead of a sustainability officer to:
- enhance and accelerate the development of our sustainability initiatives and efforts;
- develop a sustainability strategy to ensure consistency;
- improve monitoring and reporting to the Board of Directors, as well as other internal and external stakeholders.

Electronic waste management
Since October 2019 Viroclinics-DDL’s ICT department is working together with Recyclebox to create value of our electronic waste and donate it to a good cause.

Reducing our carbon footprint
Viroclinics-DDL compensates for the electricity-related CO2 -footprint of all our office spaces in Rotterdam by co-financing eco-restauration and reforestation projects.

As participants of the ‘Rotterdam Climate Alliance’, we have committed ourselves to 50% reduction of commuting-related
CO2 emissions.
