Webinar: Towards a polio free world, the importance and GAP III requisites of (pre)clinical analyses models
October 15, 2020 @ 9:00 am - 10:00 am UTC+0

This webinar looks at the challenges surrounding (pre)clinical diagnostics and highlights the main GAP III regulatory directives and policies applicable to a polio essential facility.
This webinar is hosted by the Developing Countries Vaccine Manufacturers Network and Viroclinics-DDL. Please join us to learn from our experts about their experiences, operational insights and best practices. Our goal is to ultimately contribute to a polio free world. We will focus on the following topics:
- Improved analytical methods and assays in a polio essential facility, including: Virus titration / Qualification, Quantitative virus detection, Preclinical efficacy testing, Virus neutralization, Neurovirulence testing, Mutational analysis, Deep Sequencing;
- Key learnings in relation to the guidelines of the WHO Global Action Plan to minimize poliovirus facility-associated risk;
- The importance and added value of supporting processes, including logistical services, storage of viral samples, and more.
